What you’re signing up for

The Check What It Costs beta interest form is for the upcoming Price & Demand Finder app. These two websites share one interest list. Joining does not create an app account, start a trial, reserve a guaranteed place or authorize payment. Beta timing, features and store approval are still pending.

What we collect and why

We collect your email, buying/selling interest, phone platform, the originating website, consent version and signup/confirmation time to manage beta invitations and occasional beta updates. You must be 18 or older. We confirm your email before treating you as a subscriber. Do not submit product photos or sensitive information through this form.

Where it goes

Cloudflare serves these sites and passes form requests securely to our Render-hosted application. Resend sends confirmation and invitation emails. These providers process service information on our behalf, potentially in the United States and other locations. No advertising trackers, analytics scripts or marketing cookies are installed on these pages. Infrastructure providers may retain ordinary security and delivery logs under their own policies. Rate limits use a hashed network identifier, not an advertising profile.

Your choices and retention

Your confirmation email includes a link where you can remove your signup and stop beta emails. You can also contact support@knowwhatitcosts.com for access, correction or deletion requests. We may ask you to verify ownership of the address. Unconfirmed signups expire after 7 days; confirmed interest records expire after 180 days unless you join again. We do not sell your email. Removal applies to the shared list for both sites. Service logs and delivery records may remain with providers for their operational retention periods.

What the app promises

The beta will be used to test the product. Automated photo identification and AI assistance require separately configured providers. Price context depends on evidence and condition, and is not a guaranteed appraisal or selling price. No automatic marketplace posting is promised. iOS and Android availability requires testing and store approval. No live valuation or paid plan is offered by these teaser websites.
